WRITER
Under her pen name E-Fierce, Miranda has written several acclaimed screenplays and stories including her debut young adult novel, THE SISTA HOOD: ON THE MIC. For her work as a novelist, Miranda has served as Artist-in-Residence for both the National Book Foundation, A Yaddo and a Gaia Foundation and the Gaia Foundation/Sea Change Residency.
Her screenplay for the feature-length coming-of-age story Outside the Wall received a Tribeca All Access Fellows, an Outfest Screenwriting Award, a fellow in the National Association of Latino Independent Producers Writer's Lab and was named a two-time finalist in the Sundance Feature Film Lab.
Elisha is featured in the Encyclopedia of Hip-Hop Literature, edited by Dr. Tarshia Stanley for her as a filmmaker and author.
